What to say about this fantastic masterpiece, the most powerful consumer blacklight on the market. It comes in a sturdy metal casing (+ 2 small bases for wall or table) with 18 ultra-powerful 3w UV LEDs that can illuminate a large space with a 120-degree beam angle (due to the parabolic mirrors behind the LEDs), enough to evenly distribute light throughout the area. However, something very important, modern blacklight UV LEDs have a wavelength of 395~405nM (UV-A), which is different from what we know from the 90s (UV-B, around 365nM wavelength). The difference is that UV-A displays a significant purple color in the space (mainly near the light source), which is negative for some because it doesn't create that dark feeling in the room, but as a positive, it covers a larger distance and is more intense, able to illuminate objects that are several meters away. On the other hand, UV-B does not emit the purple color, keeping the space black and darker, but it has less power and can only illuminate objects that are at a close distance. If we are talking about a large space where we want intense glow-in-the-dark elements, then this is the way to go, as traditional 365nM UV tubes will not strongly cover the area. This specific bar also comes in smaller sizes with fewer LEDs, depending on your space, choose the appropriate one. This is quite large and certainly not just for a small room or living room. However, I don't think there are UV-B LED lamps or bars available on the market, so for such a phase, this is a unique choice. Also, note that it does not have any program or programmability, it is simply ON and OFF. Finally, I would like to mention that Beamz is a very high-quality and well-known company for household, semi-professional, and professional (up to a certain point) lighting.

Έρχεται σε στιβαρό μεταλλικό κέλυφος (+ 2 μικρές βάσεις για τοίχο ή τραπέζι) με 18 πανίσχυρα 3w το καθέ ένα UV leds που μπορεί να φωτίσουν έναν μεγάλο χώρο σε άνοιγμα 120 μοίρες (λόγω των παραβολικών καθρεπτών που έχει πίσω από τα led), αρκετές για να διαχυθεί στον χώρο ομοιόμορφα. Όμως κάτι πολύ σημαντικό, τα σύγχρονα blacklight UV leds είναι σε μήκος κύματος 395~405nM (UV-A) που είναι διαφορετικό από αυτό που ξέρουμε από τα 90s (UV-B κοντά στα 365nM μήκος κύματος). Η διαφορά τους είναι ότι το UV-A εμφανίζει αρκετά μωβ χρώμα στον χώρο (κυρίως κοντά στη πηγή του φωτός) το οποίο είναι αρνητικό για κάποιους γιατί δεν αφήνει αυτή την dark αίσθηση στον χώρο, αλλά σαν θετικό καλύπτει πιο μεγάλη απόσταση και είναι πιο έντονο και μπορεί να φωτίσει και αντικείμενα που είναι αρκετά μέτρα μακριά. Αντιθέτως, το UV-B δεν βγάζει το μωβ χρώμα, κρατάει τον χώρο μαύρο και πιο σκοτεινό αλλά έχει μικρή δύναμη και μπορεί να φωτίσει μόνο αντικείμενα που είναι σε κοντινή απόσταση. Αν μιλάμε για ένα μεγάλο χώρο που θέλουμε αρκετά έντονα glow in the dark στοιχεία τότε είναι μονόδρομος αφού οι κλασσικές σωλήνες uv των 365nM δεν θα καλύψουν έντονα τον χώρο. Η συγκεκριμένη μπάρα βγαίνει και σε μικρότερα μεγέθη με λιγότερα led, ανάλογα με τον χώρο σας επιλέξτε το κατάλληλο. Αυτό είναι αρκετά μεγάλο και σίγουρα δεν είναι μόνο για ένα μικρό δωμάτιο ή σαλόνι. Δεν νομίζω πάντως να υπάρχει στην αγορά UV-B led λάμπες ή μπάρες οπότε για μια τέτοια φάση είναι μοναδική επιλογή. Να σημειώσω επίσης οτι δεν έχει κάποιο πρόγραμμα ή δεν δέχεται προγραμματισμό, είναι απλά ON και OFF. Τέλος να αναφέρω ότι η Beamz είναι πολύ ποιοτική και γνωστή εταιρεία για οικιακό, ημιεπαγγελματικό και επαγγελματικό (μέχρι ενός σημείου) φωτισμό.
