Although the specifications state that there should be no facial hair (beard) to ensure good sealing, if the beard is closely trimmed (what we call "a few days' beard"), good sealing is still ensured – I successfully tested it. Depending on what someone wants to protect against, there is the option to choose from four models. 4251+, 4255+, 4277+, 4279+. For my case, where the potential hazards are Metal Oxide Fumes, Zinc Oxide Fumes, and Insulation Material Emissions (particulate fumes and organic vapors), I chose the 4255+ which provides the best level of protection for these cases. Since I am not an expert on these matters, ChatGPT helped me a lot in choosing, analyzing both the various potential hazards and the corresponding levels of protection each mask offers.
