Well, a friend lent me his double vacation home and I had to somehow fit my family (including my mother-in-law)... I got an extra 2 mattresses, which you can literally find everywhere now, almost at the same price of 14-15 euros... To avoid running around at the last minute, I bought an electric pump from Intex (with car power and home plug) for 20 euros and also just in case a manual double-action pump, also from Intex, the big one for about 10€... First of all, with the electric pump, it inflated to 95% in 1 minute and then I finished it off with the manual pump and it became rock hard... I had 7 satisfactory nights... It wasn’t a bed mattress but it was much better than some cots or other low-quality mattresses that some rented rooms have... I considered it a stopgap solution and had low expectations, on the contrary, I was pleasantly surprised... In my opinion, inflate it to its limits... I don’t know if the manufacturer recommends it or not, but even if they broke (not that anything happened) personally, the 30 euros are peanuts compared to the convenience they offer... I weigh 82 kilos and my daughter weighs 48, and she never complained... The mattresses deflated quickly with the electric pump, and folding them released the minimal air from inside... In short, when you get it, you know you will make some concessions in sleep quality... Here they are minimal, if I may say, unworthy of mention, and personally, I don’t care what the other reviews say... Inflate it properly, every 2 days give it another 3-4 strong inflations with the manual pump to replenish any lost air and you’re all set...

It is used as a solution for guests but not often. As an emergency solution, it is just fine, economical, in a very good size, it comfortably fits one person and you can turn to your side without being afraid of falling. I also got an electric pump (Intex Quick-Fill 220V, Skroutz code: 66640) that inflates it in 1 minute and also deflates it in 1 minute. When deflated, the mattress folds quite well and does not take up space. The top part is velvety and the sheet or pillow does not slip at all. Its valve is double: when you open the first small valve and place the electric pump, it inflates without losing air. When you want to deflate it, you open the large valve and the air escapes more easily. But it is worth giving €13 for the pump to inflate it easily, and also to quickly draw the air out, because it is not easy to deflate it completely just by pressing it, and if it is not fully deflated it does not fold well. As for the feel, the mattress is comfortable, it moves a bit but you get used to it in a few minutes. What we rarely think about is that when you sleep so low, it is not the easiest to get up. If someone with a problem, e.g. with their knees, sleeps there, they might need a little help to get up.
I should add that depending on the user's weight, sometimes it creaks, but it is not particularly annoying.
NOTE: In winter, if the mattress is in direct contact with the floor, the cold passes to our back. So, if possible, it is good to have a rug underneath and on the top side, before lying down, to put at least a thin blanket.

I wonder about all the positive reviews here, I'm not saying it doesn't seem like a nice product, good quality, easy to inflate and deflate (with the Intex electric pump), but it doesn't serve the purpose I bought it for. Maybe for camping where many people use it, it may seem good, considering the alternatives available there. But, I bought it to be able to accommodate someone in my house, and also for myself when there is a need to sleep in another room (you know, heatwave, snoring, no need to elaborate further). Well, the big negative is its instability. To an excessive degree! You almost feel like you're trying to balance on an inflatable in the sea, in the water! I don't know, maybe it appeals to those who prefer water beds (they used to be trendy, like Filipidis had in "Kleidi", for those who remember haha), but personally, I almost had a vertigo. Plus, it is relatively high off the ground, so the risk of taking a good tumble while turning increases considerably! Maybe the trick is not to inflate it too much, the situation improves somewhat that way, but I don't know what consequences it will have on the middle of the next morning..!

P.S. Why do I see many people with this mattress on the beaches, contrary to the manufacturer's instructions that do not recommend exposure to the sun and heat? They probably bought it like me, and since it's not comfortable for sleeping at night, they say, instead of throwing it away, let's take it with us to the beach, as a substitute for a sunbed, and make the most of it. Hmm, it's not a bad idea the way I think about it! Thanks to the Intex pump that has a car plug, maybe it's worth a try!
