ATTENTION! This is the theatrical play "Idiot" which is based on the book of the same name by Dostoevsky. Very nice!

Description & Specifications

The "Idiot," Prince Myshkin, who suffers from epilepsy, returns to Russia after many years of absence. In Saint Petersburg, they disdain and mock his innocence. However, he reciprocates everyone's kindness.

When he suddenly inherits a large fortune, he finds himself at the center of social interest. For everyone, the good nature of the prince is incomprehensible and evokes conflicting emotions. When he is caught in the whirlwind of human passions, disdain, greed, love, and jealousy, he responds with selflessness, love, and sacrifice.

This autobiographical novel, written by Dostoevsky entirely in Europe, far from Russia, during a time of despair, great poverty, and nostalgia for the homeland. With epileptic seizures tormenting him and his personal existential anxieties troubling him, The Idiot is born, a novel that, as the author himself noted, "relates to the portrayal of a truly good and positive person." The Idiot is the image of a society that seems to want to exorcise evil and seek good.
