The Akyga® AK-AD-12 converter is used to transfer analog data from a device with a DVI-I output to a device with a VGA input. These connectors are still popular in older models of graphics cards and monitors.

The converter is unidirectional, meaning the data flow is in one direction, from the DVI-I connector to the VGA connector. Therefore, it is primarily suitable for transmitting video signals from a computer to a monitor.

For a more permanent connection of the converter to the computer, a reliable fastening screw is used, which not only stabilizes the converter in the port but also protects against accidental disconnection of the converter.
