It reminds me a bit of Lataffa Assad with a softer scent. I have never tried Layton. It is a sweet fruity unisex fragrance leaning towards masculine in my opinion. Strong synthetic scent of vanilla and apple that is a bit overwhelming at first but then softens. It is an everyday all-around fragrance without high expectations, with good longevity and soft intensity. After a while, for some reason, the scent matures; it is never exactly the same as on the first day. Bottle, cap, and packaging are among the worst I have ever seen. The atomizer sprays straight like a spray, but it is acceptable. I would not recommend it nor would I buy it again.

Those who buy a clone perfume or generally a perfume... and judge the bottle really make me wonder. Have you ever smelled someone and asked them, "how's the bottle, brother"? No. As a fragrance, it is an excellent clone of Layton, with an indifferent and synthetic opening in the first 3-4 minutes... something that softens afterwards and comes quite close to the aura of Layton. A perfume with good longevity but not so good projection (ok, for around 20-25 € that's fine) that could easily convince someone smelling it that it's Layton. I deduct one star due to the projection but overall it's still worth it.

Great similarity to Layton after the first ten minutes since at the opening it gave me something quite synthetic. Honest and vfm for this money, with very good performance and just right for winter and autumn and maybe cold afternoons - spring evenings. If you are wondering how it smells, it smells like a combination of apple strudel with a slightly woody background.

Blind buy January 24. Let me clarify that I am not new to the world of fragrances. I often experiment while I have a respectable collection. They said it was a clone of Layton. It is quite close. In all other aspects, DISAPPOINTMENT. First of all, incredibly synthetic, OK somewhat expected for its price. Projection and sillage are simply zero. Where I was completely disappointed was in the longevity. 12 sprays and still after an hour it has disappeared even from my clothes. I don't know if there has been some reformulation after the great popularity it gained or if I got a bad batch, but my experience was the worst possible. The bottle is unacceptable, you simply can't hold it to spray properly while the sprayer requires force to spray correctly. For me, it's a strong no and I'm sure that a clone of Layton from the neighborhood perfumery would perform better.

Owner of the original Layton and Layton exclusif, I compared it to Detour Noir, which I don't know if it belongs to the same category.
Layton is spicy-sweet and not just sweet like Detour, in fact, its sweetness lacks character and quality.
It is also more linear, lacking fluctuations.
It doesn't "transport" you as much as the original, nor does it leave that elegant aura of Layton. (Transparent)

The good things about Detour are the price (up to 25 euros) and its longevity

I don't know if it resembles LAYTON as I haven't smelled it. To me, it seems quite similar to Armani stronger with you intensely (a little lighter than Armani). A very good fragrance for dressing well and ages 30+

Overcome the tacky and cheap packaging of the fragrance. There is no person who does not turn their gaze away from this monstrosity as soon as they see it.
As a fragrance, it is of high quality, surpassing every expectation.
Sweet and warm. Apple, vanilla, and sandalwood.
They say it resembles Layton too much, but I have no opinion.
Very few fragrances can give you compliments from strangers. This one has managed to do so.
