Description

Upgrade your sound with the Zoom G1 FOUR, an extremely versatile multi-effect pedal offering over 65 built-in effects and 13 amplifier simulations. Designed to provide complete creative freedom, it allows you to use up to 5 effects simultaneously in any order, and includes a built-in looper, rhythm patterns, and the ability to connect with Guitar Lab software for endless sound design possibilities. Lightweight and compact, it is the ideal companion for the studio, rehearsal, or home practice.

Endless Sound and Simulation Options

The Zoom G1 FOUR features a rich library of 65 built-in effects, including modulation, delay, reverb, and distortions, as well as 13 classic amp and cabinet simulations. You can use up to 5 effects simultaneously, arranged in any order you wish, creating unique soundscapes. With 50 memory slots for storing your own patches, your personal sound is always available at the touch of a button.

Built-in Looper and Rhythm Section

Elevate your creativity with the built-in looper, which allows recording of up to 30 seconds (or 64 beats) in crystal-clear CD quality. Accompany your playing with the 68 digital rhythm patterns, which include various musical genres and time signatures. The combination of the looper and drums makes the G1 FOUR a powerful tool for composition and practice, allowing you to build entire tracks on your own.

Advanced Control via Guitar Lab

Through the USB port, you can connect the pedal to the Zoom Guitar Lab software. This application allows you to create, edit, and manage your effects and patches with incredible ease from your computer. In addition, you can download new effects and patches created by professional artists, keeping your equipment always up to date and full of new sonic challenges.

Intelligent Functions for Live and Studio

The pedal is equipped with the Preselect function, which allows you to silently select the next patch while the current one remains active, ensuring smooth transitions during performance. The Auto Save function automatically saves all your parameter changes, so you never lose your settings. Additionally, the built-in chromatic tuner supports both standard and drop tunings for absolute accuracy.

Designed for Portability and Convenience

Weighing only 340 g and featuring compact dimensions, the G1 FOUR fits easily into your guitar case. The back-lit LCD screen with adjustable contrast provides clear visibility in any lighting environment, from dark stages to bright rooms. It can operate for up to 18 hours on batteries, while also supporting power via USB or an external 9V DC adapter, offering maximum flexibility for your travels.

Rich Connections and Ergonomics

The control panel features dedicated knobs for Bass, Mid, Treble, and Volume, offering instant access to your sound. It includes an Auxiliary input for connecting a smartphone or MP3 player so you can play along with your favorite tracks, as well as outputs for connecting to an amplifier or headphones. With a power consumption of 500 mA and robust footswitches for the looper and tuner, it is a complete solution that easily integrates into any pedalboard.

For its price, it is truly incredible. Easy to use and with really endless options. For a beginner or someone who is not interested in live use, it is ideal. Very good build quality despite the fact that it is plastic. A big advantage is that it works with batteries and is powered by USB. I did a live session by connecting it to a small power bank.

    First impressions
    1. Plastic construction that doesn't pose a problem.
    2. It runs on power supply (not included in the package), batteries (provided), and a USB cable (also not included in the package). To connect it with the Guitar Lab app (which is very good), I had to try 2-3 different chargers until I found one that worked. I don't know what the issue is.
    3. The pre-installed sounds don't impress a metal guitarist and require some searching to find something good.
    4. It's not particularly difficult to use for basic functions. However, if you want to explore and experiment with the sounds, it requires some familiarity.
    5. I consider the price of 65€ to be good.
