    I believe that there are 3 criteria in the adapter market: build quality, reliability, and speed. This specific one reaches the maximum of USB 3.0 (0.63GB/s), its construction is good and it never disconnects. The only use that didn't work was when I tried to connect a mechanical hard drive to my phone, but it's because the phone doesn't provide enough power, as mechanical drives require more current than SSDs and flash drives. SSDs work fine. It also works with a USB hub at the end.
