The CL-38uC uses SRPP (Shunt Regulated Push Pull) circuitry for all stages, achieving the best possible sound quality. It includes a genuine phonographic equalizer, with MC-low and MC-high inputs having independent MC transformers and being selectable via the MC resistance switch. The tone controls allow the listener to precisely adjust the sound quality. The refined exterior design and newly added balanced inputs make this vacuum tube integrated amplifier a new standard for its generation.

Legacy of LUXMAN amplifiers: Since the release of the SQ-5A vacuum tube integrated amplifier in 1961, we have continued to produce vacuum tube amplifiers without interruption. We have created many models that are valued as signatures, and satisfied music enthusiasts enjoy them to this day, even many decades after their release. The CL-38uC and MQ-88uC combine LUXMAN's history of producing high-quality tube products.

Selected high-quality components: Due to their relatively simple circuit layout, vacuum tube amplifiers are significantly influenced by the quality of individual components. Therefore, we use LUXMAN's high-quality transformers and capacitor blocks. The further customized design includes high-voltage metal polypropylene capacitors, introduced for their natural sound.

Reviving designs from the golden age of tube amplifiers, the CL-38uC and MQ-88uC are based on modern technology but their exterior design recalls the classic era of tube sound without using false characteristics. The CL-38uC is modeled after the CL-35, released in 1970. The classic front panel design is both functional and beautiful.

Reliability and long life: Each CL-38uC and MQ-88uC undergoes a final performance test after 48 hours of aging post-assembly. JJ Electronic (Slovakia) tubes have been selected for these models due to their reliability and long lifespan. The traditional wooden case, representing the tradition of the 38 series, has been retained.
