It doesn't fill with excessive product that causes all the unwanted results like clumps and stuck together lashes. Of course, it's not just the brush that is good, the mascara has a good composition too, since with three coats I feel my lashes light and soft, not stiff. By the way, this... "builds up". Each coat makes the result more intense.
