    The optimizer is actually a dehydrator. Its composition is a combination of acetone and pure alcohol. We nail techs use it to remove the natural oils from the nail so we can apply product and make it last for weeks. It is useful and necessary. The only difference in the packaging is that now the glass is frosted matte opaque, whereas initially it was transparent non-frosted. This does not affect its effectiveness.
