The board game Concordia Venus is a strategy and economic development game set in Roman times, for 2–6 players. Settlers set out from Rome and settle in cities that produce bricks, food, tools, wine, and cloth. Players rely on their strategy and keep an eye on their opponents’ moves rather than depending on the luck of the dice or cards.
Each player starts with the same set of cards and acquires more during the game. The cards allow players to choose actions and earn victory points at the end. The game includes four maps with modular city layouts, while personality cards featuring the goddess Venus add new strategies. It can also be played by teams of two players.
