The King of Tokyo board game is a strategy game in which players take on the role of giant monsters competing to dominate Tokyo. Each round, they roll six dice and, after up to three rolls, choose symbols to earn destruction points, collect energy, heal or attack their opponents. Energy is used to purchase special cards with abilities.
The winner is the first player to earn 20 destruction points or the last player remaining in the game.

We play it with the boys (6 & 8) as well as with my wife.
The game is very entertaining and the rounds are never the same, partly because the dice add randomness and strategy, but also because the cards drastically change the game.
The artwork is very beautiful, the pieces are OK in terms of quality, and the replayability is quite good.
Maybe the younger one needs an explanation at first about what the cards do, but after a few rounds he remembers exactly what they do.
I easily give it 5 stars because the kids and we really enjoy it and we spend a quality 2 hours playing.
We're definitely going for the expansions (additional monsters and mechanics).

Η εικονογραφιση είναι πολλή όμορφη, τα κομματια είναι ΟΚ από ποιότητα και η επαναπαιξιμοτητα αρκετή.
Ίσως ο μικρότερος να χρειάζεται μια εξήγηση αρχικά στον τι κάνουν οι κάρτες αλλά μετά από λίγες παρτίδες θυμάται τι ακριβώς κάνουν.
Χαλαρά του δίνω 5 αστέρια γιατί τα παιδιά αλλά και εμείς το γουστάρουμε αρκετά και περναμε ένα ποιοτικό 2ωρο παίζοντας.
