Description

Description

The Arboretum card game by Renegade Game Studios is a strategic game about creating tree paths in each player’s personal garden. Each card represents a tree species and has a specific value. Players draw cards, choose which ones to keep and which to place in their Arboretum, while the cards they keep affect both their own choices and their opponents’ ability to score.

To be valid, a path must contain at least two cards of the same tree species, arranged in ascending numerical order. The path can begin and end with different tree species. At the end of the game, players compare their paths and calculate their scores.

Very nice game! It is learned quickly (from the first test game we understood the rules). Its operation is very clever as it constantly creates twists and it is not clear who the winner is. The box says it can be played with 4 players, but I think someone will get lost if they are playing the game for the first time. If 4 experienced players are playing, it may be easier
