Viticulture is a tradition for the Bairaktaris family, passed down from one generation to another. In 2005, Christos Bairaktaris created the Bairaktaris Estate, a family business based on its privately owned vineyards in Nemea. The philosophy of the Bairaktaris Estate focuses on the natural cultivation of the vineyards, as high-quality wine comes from excellent quality grapes. Natural winemaking methods are followed, without added yeast, so that the wines acquire richer and more lasting aromas.
