I give 4 stars because the cream that does the polishing was slightly opened at the bottom as someone else mentioned in the comments, so it's not a coincidence... however, it was enough for the job and there was even some left over.
Also, a second sponge for polishing with the varnish would be ideal.
I did the sanding by hand, which is important because you can tell when you need to move to the next sandpaper; I applied the cream with a drill screwdriver, I believe it wouldn't work by hand.
Have two clean cloths, one for each headlight, to wipe well after applying the cream.
When you go to apply the varnish, wear disposable gloves, both to avoid getting your hands dirty and to prevent dust from your hands from getting on the headlight—an important step.
Definitely use your own masking tape, not the one from the kit, as it is too narrow.
Take your time to apply the masking tape well and do not try to remove it until half an hour has passed after applying the varnish, because there will be cream residue that will stick to the headlight.
With patience, you get a very good result, about 80% of the original condition, maybe even more.

Βάζω 4 αστέρια γιατί η κρέμα που κάνει το γυάλισμα ήταν ελαφρώς ανοιγμένη από κάτω όπως γράφει και άλλος στα σχολεία άρα δεν είναι τυχαίο…έφτασε όμως για την δουλειά και περίσσεψε κιόλας.
Επίσης ένα δεύτερο σφουγγάρι για το γυάλισμα με το βερνίκι θα ήταν το ιδανικό.
Το τρίψιμο το έκανα με το χέρι σημαντικό γιατί καταλαβαίνεις πότε πρέπει να πας στο επόμενο γυαλόχαρτο την κρέμα την έβαλα με το δραπανοκατσαβιδο πιστεύω με το χέρι δεν θα κάνει δουλειά.
Να έχετε δύο καθαρά πανιά ένα για κάθε φανάρι να σκουπίσετε μετά την εφαρμογή της κρέμας καλά.
Όταν πάτε να βάλετε το βερνίκι να φοράτε γάντια μιας χρήσεως και για να μην λερωθεί το χέρι αλλά ούτε και το φανάρι από σκόνες που μπορεί να έχετε στα χέρια σημαντικό βήμα.
Χαρτοταινία οπωσδήποτε δικιάς σας όχι του κιτ δεν κάνει είναι μικρή σε φάρδος.
Αφιερώστε χρόνο να βάλετε καλά την χαρτοταινία και μην πάτε να την αφαιρέσετε αν δεν περάσει μισή ώρα από την εφαρμογή με το βερνίκι γιατί θα έχει υπολείμματα από την κρέμα που θα κολλήσουν πάνω στο φανάρι.
Με υπομονή βγαίνει πολύ καλό αποτέλεσμα της τάξεως του 80% της αρχικής κατάστασης ίσως κι παραπάνω.

I bought the product today 05/07/2024 at the price of 8.40€. I used the product on a 2006 Renault Clio 1.6 whose headlights had never been polished in the past and the car was constantly exposed to the weather. I followed the steps as stated in the instructions. The polishing was done by hand and it took me a total of 2 hours. I used up all the finishing paste that was included in the kit and 1 of the 2 varnish sachets. I think the result is quite satisfactory as shown in the photos. I hope it will last for a long time

Χρησιμοποιησα το προϊόν σε renault clio 1.6 του 2006 τα οποια φανάρια δεν είχανε τριφτει ποτέ στο παρελθόν και το αυτοκινητο ητανε μονίμως εκτεθημενο στον καιρό. Ακολουθησα τα βήματα οπως αναγραφοτανε στις οδηγίες. Το τριψιμο εγινε με το χέρι και μου πήρε συνολικό χρόνο 2 ωρες. Ξοδεψα ολη τη παστα φινιρισματος που ειχε μέσα το κιτ. και το 1 απτα 2 φακελακια βερνικιου. Το αποτελέσμα νομίζω πως ειναι αρκετά ικανοποιητικο οπως φαίνεται στις φώτο. Ελπίζω να κρατήσει αρκετό χρονικό διάστημα

Γυάλισμα δύο φαναριών Vito μέσα σε 45 λεπτά της ώρας. Έκανα βλακεία που δεν τα έβγαλα πριν και μετά για να δείτε τη διαφορά. Ένα όμως θα σας πω ότι πριν μια εβδομάδα με έκοψαν στο ΚΤΕΟ γιατί τα φανάρια δε πέρασαν από τον έλεγχο.
Αξίζει και με το παραπάνω

Το τρίψιμο το έκανα με το χέρι σημαντικό γιατί καταλαβαίνεις πότε πρέπει να πας στο επόμενο γυαλόχαρτο την κρέμα την έβαλα με το δραπανοκατσαβιδο πιστεύω με το χέρι δεν θα κάνει δουλειά.
Να έχετε δύο καθαρά πανιά ένα για κάθε φανάρι να σκουπίσετε μετά την εφαρμογή της κρέμας καλά.
Όταν πάτε να βάλετε το βερνίκι να φοράτε γάντια μιας χρήσεως και για να μην λερωθεί το χέρι αλλά ούτε και το φανάρι από σκόνες που μπορεί να έχετε στα χέρια σημαντικό βήμα.
Χαρτοταινία οπωσδήποτε δικιάς σας όχι του κιτ δεν κάνει είναι μικρή σε φάρδος.
Αφιερώστε χρόνο να βάλετε καλά την χαρτοταινία και μην πάτε να την αφαιρέσετε αν δεν περάσει μισή ώρα από την εφαρμογή με το βερνίκι γιατί θα έχει υπολείμματα από την κρέμα που θα κολλήσουν πάνω στο φανάρι.
Με υπομονή βγαίνει πολύ καλό αποτέλεσμα της τάξεως του 80% της αρχικής κατάστασης ίσως κι παραπάνω.

I bought the product today 05/07/2024 at the price of 8.40€. I used the product on a 2006 Renault Clio 1.6 whose headlights had never been polished in the past and the car was constantly exposed to the weather. I followed the steps as stated in the instructions. The polishing was done by hand and it took me a total of 2 hours. I used up all the finishing paste that was included in the kit and 1 of the 2 varnish sachets. I think the result is quite satisfactory as shown in the photos. I hope it will last for a long time
Αγορασα το προϊόν σήμερα 05/07/2024 στην τιμή των 8.40€. Χρησιμοποιησα το προϊόν σε renault clio 1.6 του 2006 τα οποια φανάρια δεν είχανε τριφτει ποτέ στο παρελθόν και το αυτοκινητο ητανε μονίμως εκτεθημενο στον καιρό. Ακολουθησα τα βήματα οπως αναγραφοτανε στις οδηγίες. Το τριψιμο εγινε με το χέρι και μου πήρε συνολικό χρόνο 2 ωρες. Ξοδεψα ολη τη παστα φινιρισματος που ειχε μέσα το κιτ. και το 1 απτα 2 φακελακια βερνικιου. Το αποτελέσμα νομίζω πως ειναι αρκετά ικανοποιητικο οπως φαίνεται στις φώτο. Ελπίζω να κρατήσει αρκετό χρονικό διάστημα
For its price and amateur use, it is worth it. It just requires persistence and good hand polishing to achieve the right result. Time will tell how long it will last.
Για τα λεφτά του και χρήση ερασιτεχνική αξίζει.
Απλά θέλει επιμονή και καλό τρίψιμο στο χέρι για να γίνει το σωστό αποτέλεσμα.Θα δείξει ο χρόνος πόσο θα αντέξει.
