8 months of intense use created marks around the area where the case touches. I would suggest avoiding it. I don't know if it's due to the sea salt trapped in that spot, the dust, or simply the pressure applied.
After two weeks of use, I have to say that it is an excellent product at an excellent price. I use the watch for swimming and judo training, less for trekking and enduro. Despite the adverse use, there is no damage to the case or the watch. The fit is perfect and the comfort level is high. Additionally, it gives a rugged look, which personally I like.
