purchase on 18/10/25. With the certainty that I got the amazing Makita tool, I took it to a construction site in case some grinding was needed. It didn't even use half a battery and it stopped. Changed the battery but still doesn't work even though it is charged. I only have Makita corded tools and I am completely satisfied, which is why I proceeded with this battery purchase, but this is wasted money, what a shame

After years of searching to find which grinder is worth it among all the brands... and based on cost and features... I ended up with this one. A tool you truly enjoy.
At first, for the money you pay, it doesn't look impressive, it's a small grinder, but in the end, you get what you pay for. It has as much or even more power than an electric grinder (at least compared to the ones I've used). Low vibrations, generally very high quality for precise cutting. It has a smart controller and knows how to adjust the speed and power automatically to save some battery by reducing the speed when running idle... and for real speed adjustment... when you push it, it gives more power to keep the speed and strength as stable as possible. While the others I've used lose speed and power when pushed... they stall...
The brake is very practical, of course, and I couldn't find another grinder with all the features I wanted at a good price (brushless, slim body, smooth start, speed adjustment, brake).
The grinder is long/tall... and at first, it seems a bit strange, but in the end, it's much more convenient because it's well-balanced and doesn't tire you at all.
It has 2 filters that come out easily as they should, and you can blow them out from time to time to remove the dust.
The wrench it comes with is long... the best I've seen compared to other grinders.
One negative I have to mention is that it won't unscrew at all if you use a thin disc (regular metal cutting disc). For some reason (safety?), you need to use the wrench every time. Even with gloves on, it's very difficult and you risk breaking the disc. For grinding discs, it unscrews normally, but if it's thinner... it's dangerous because it takes a lot of force and there's a risk of injury, so I have to use the wrench every time. I even put a little oil on the thread but nothing. I hope I find a solution.
The guard also seems superior, but it isn't designed properly and doesn't fit in the positions that are convenient. Personally, I never find it convenient to use the guards on grinders anymore, so I simply never use them. But you always need safety glasses or a mask for sure.

Ένα αρνητικό που πρέπει να αναφέρω είναι ότι δεν ξεβιδώνει με τίποτα αν βάλεις λεπτό δίσκο (κανονικό δίσκο κοπής μετάλλου).. Για κάποιο λόγο (ασφαλείας?) χρειάζεται κάθε φορά να βάλεις το κλειδί. Ακόμα και με γάντια να φοράς είναι πολύ δύσκολο και ρισκάρεις να σπάσει το δισκάκι.. Για δίσκους λείανσης εκεί ξεβιδώνει κανονικά.. αλλά αν είναι ποιο λεπτός... είναι επικίνδυνο γιατί θέλει πολύ δύναμη και είναι ρίσκο να χτυπήσεις, για αυτό εγώ αναγκάζομαι και βάζω κάθε φορά το κλειδί. Έβαλα και λίγο λάδι στο σπείρωμα αλλά τίποτα. Ελπίζω να βρω λύση.
Το προστατευτικό και αυτό φαίνεται ανώτερο, αλλά δεν το έχουν σχεδιάσει σωστά και δεν πάει στις θέσεις που βολεύει. Προσωπικά πλέον ποτέ δεν με βολεύει να χρησιμοποιώ τα προστατευτικά στους τροχούς και πολύ απλά δεν τα βάζω ποτέ. Αλλά πάντα χρειάζεται γυαλιά ή μάσκα προστασίας σίγουρα.

Το μοτέρ είναι χωρίς κάρβουνακια και σαν δύναμη είναι σαν έναν τροχό ρεύματος 800w πάνω κάτω. Για κοπή μετάλλου χαλκού κτλ είναι μια χαρά. Δεν θα πει όχι και σε λείανση μετάλλου κοπή μπετου κτλ αλλά εκεί πρέπει να έχεις αρκετές μπαταρίες.
Η βαλίτσα είναι αρκετά μεγάλη και χώρα άνετα τροχό φόρτιση 4 μπαταρίες και δισκάκια.

Ένα αρνητικό που πρέπει να αναφέρω είναι ότι δεν ξεβιδώνει με τίποτα αν βάλεις λεπτό δίσκο (κανονικό δίσκο κοπής μετάλλου).. Για κάποιο λόγο (ασφαλείας?) χρειάζεται κάθε φορά να βάλεις το κλειδί. Ακόμα και με γάντια να φοράς είναι πολύ δύσκολο και ρισκάρεις να σπάσει το δισκάκι.. Για δίσκους λείανσης εκεί ξεβιδώνει κανονικά.. αλλά αν είναι ποιο λεπτός... είναι επικίνδυνο γιατί θέλει πολύ δύναμη και είναι ρίσκο να χτυπήσεις, για αυτό εγώ αναγκάζομαι και βάζω κάθε φορά το κλειδί. Έβαλα και λίγο λάδι στο σπείρωμα αλλά τίποτα. Ελπίζω να βρω λύση.
Το προστατευτικό και αυτό φαίνεται ανώτερο, αλλά δεν το έχουν σχεδιάσει σωστά και δεν πάει στις θέσεις που βολεύει. Προσωπικά πλέον ποτέ δεν με βολεύει να χρησιμοποιώ τα προστατευτικά στους τροχούς και πολύ απλά δεν τα βάζω ποτέ. Αλλά πάντα χρειάζεται γυαλιά ή μάσκα προστασίας σίγουρα.
Good tool but I take away stars for the good batteries. Some complain about fake Chinese Makita batteries. I got two genuine 5h and one was destroyed in a few months without much work

Σαν μέγεθος στην αρχή σου κάθεται λίγο άσχημα γιατί είναι πολύ μακρύς παρόλα αυτά με την μπαταρία πάνω είναι καλά ζυγισμενος και έχει πάρα πολύ λεπτό κορμο οπότε και κάποιος με μικρά χέρια μπορεί να τον δουλέψει άνετα με το ένα χέρι.
Το μοτέρ είναι χωρίς κάρβουνακια και σαν δύναμη είναι σαν έναν τροχό ρεύματος 800w πάνω κάτω. Για κοπή μετάλλου χαλκού κτλ είναι μια χαρά. Δεν θα πει όχι και σε λείανση μετάλλου κοπή μπετου κτλ αλλά εκεί πρέπει να έχεις αρκετές μπαταρίες.
Η βαλίτσα είναι αρκετά μεγάλη και χώρα άνετα τροχό φόρτιση 4 μπαταρίες και δισκάκια.

purchase on 18/10/25. With the certainty that I got the amazing Makita tool, I took it to a construction site in case some grinding was needed. It didn't even use half a battery and it stopped. Changed the battery but still doesn't work even though it is charged. I only have Makita corded tools and I am completely satisfied, which is why I proceeded with this battery purchase, but this is wasted money, what a shame

After years of searching to find which grinder is worth it among all the brands... and based on cost and features... I ended up with this one. A tool you truly enjoy.
At first, for the money you pay, it doesn't look impressive, it's a small grinder, but in the end, you get what you pay for. It has as much or even more power than an electric grinder (at least compared to the ones I've used). Low vibrations, generally very high quality for precise cutting. It has a smart controller and knows how to adjust the speed and power automatically to save some battery by reducing the speed when running idle... and for real speed adjustment... when you push it, it gives more power to keep the speed and strength as stable as possible. While the others I've used lose speed and power when pushed... they stall...
The brake is very practical, of course, and I couldn't find another grinder with all the features I wanted at a good price (brushless, slim body, smooth start, speed adjustment, brake).
The grinder is long/tall... and at first, it seems a bit strange, but in the end, it's much more convenient because it's well-balanced and doesn't tire you at all.
It has 2 filters that come out easily as they should, and you can blow them out from time to time to remove the dust.
The wrench it comes with is long... the best I've seen compared to other grinders.
One negative I have to mention is that it won't unscrew at all if you use a thin disc (regular metal cutting disc). For some reason (safety?), you need to use the wrench every time. Even with gloves on, it's very difficult and you risk breaking the disc. For grinding discs, it unscrews normally, but if it's thinner... it's dangerous because it takes a lot of force and there's a risk of injury, so I have to use the wrench every time. I even put a little oil on the thread but nothing. I hope I find a solution.
The guard also seems superior, but it isn't designed properly and doesn't fit in the positions that are convenient. Personally, I never find it convenient to use the guards on grinders anymore, so I simply never use them. But you always need safety glasses or a mask for sure.
Υστέρα από χρόνια που έψαχνα να να βρω ποιος τροχός αξίζει από όλες τις μάρκες... και με βάση το κόστος και τα χαρακτηριστικά... κατέληξα σε αυτό. Εργαλείο που το χαίρεσαι.
Στην αρχή για τα λεφτά που δίνεις δεν σου γεμίζει το μάτι, ένα μικρο τροχουδάκι είναι, αλλά τελικά ότι πληρώνεις παίρνεις. Έχει δύναμη ίσα η και ποιο πολύ από τροχό ρεύματος (τουλάχιστον από αυτούς που έχω δουλέψει εγώ) Χαμηλοί κραδασμοί, γενικά πολύ ποιοτικός για μεγάλη ακρίβεια κοπής.. Έχει εγκέφαλο και ξέρει να ρυθμίζει τις στροφές και την δύναμη αυτόματα για να κερδίζεις λίγο μπαταρία μειώνοντας της στροφές όταν το δουλεύεις στον αέρα... και για πραγματική ρύθμιση ταχύτητας... όταν το ζορίζεις δίνει παραπάνω ρεύμα για να κρατάει όσο μπορεί σταθερή τη ταχύτητα και δύναμη.. Ενώ τα άλλα που έχω δουλέψει όσο τα ζορίζεις μειώνονται οι στροφές και η δύναμη.. κωλώνουν...
Το φρένο πολύ πρακτικό εννοείται, και δεν έβρισκα άλλο τροχό που να έχει όλα αυτά τα χαρακτηριστικά που ήθελα σε καλή τιμή(brushless, λεπτό κορμό, ομαλή εκκίνηση, ρύθμιση ταχύτητας, φρένο)..
Ο τροχός είναι μακρόστενος/ψηλός... και στην αρχή σου φαίνεται λίγο περίεργο αλλά τελικά έτσι βολεύει πολύ περισσότερο γιατί είναι καλό-ζυγισμένο και δεν σε κουράζει καθόλου.
Έχει 2 φίλτρα τα οποία βγαίνουν εύκολα όπως πρέπει και τα φυσάς που και που να φύγει η σκόνη.
Το κλειδί που σου δίνει είναι μακρύ... ότι καλύτερο από κλειδιά που έχω δει ποτέ σε άλλους τροχούς.
