The ROLINE 5-meter cable connects a DisplayPort source (male) to a DVI-D display (male). It transmits digital DVI (DVI-D) signals and does not support analog DVI-A signals. It supports Dual Link DVI provided that the source, cable, and monitor are compatible with dual-link. It requires a DisplayPort++ (dual-mode) output from the source for passive DP→DVI operation.
