The Anker PowerPort 6 charger is a charging station with six USB-A ports. It supports PowerIQ and VoltageBoost and features overvoltage and overheating protection. It is compatible with smartphones, tablets, and other USB devices, but does not support Qualcomm Quick Charge.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Users are largely satisfied, especially with its ability to charge multiple devices at once and its reliable performance. They say it’s practical for the office and travel, as it reduces the need for multiple chargers and outlets. However, some note that it doesn’t support fast charging on certain devices, and there have also been reports of it failing after a few years of use.
It doesn’t support Quick Charge on the OnePlus, unlike my previous charger (Anker PowerPort Speed 5 - 63W), using exactly the same cables and devices. This particular model simply does NOT support any fast-charge technology, as all its ports are limited to the standard 5V. https://lygte-info.dk/review/USBpower%20Anker%2060W%206-port%20A2123%20UK.html
It does what it promises, as long as you have good cables to fully support fast charging. I highly recommend it!
Excellent charger. It has literally solved my hands, both in the office and on trips where sockets are often not enough.
The Anker PowerPort 6 is a device that does exactly what it promises.
With the PowerIQ and VoltageBoost technologies it incorporates, it provides the fastest and optimal possible charging for up to 6 devices simultaneously, delivering up to 2.4 Amps per port.
Personally, I have been using it since April 21 and have successfully charged up to 5 devices simultaneously (2 mobile phones, smartwatch, wireless headphones, and action camera).
It comes with a 1.5m power cable and a "Scratch scratch" tape for organization.
I am overall very satisfied. I recommend it.
It definitely handles 5 raspberry pi 4 without any problem.
For months, none of the raspberry pi devices, which are constantly running with CPU usage around 50% at any given time, have ever had any issues. It can handle more.
It does exactly what it should - I installed it with double-sided tape in the office and so far I have been charging electronic cigarettes, cameras, and wireless headphones at the same time as if I had plugged them into their sockets. The performance seems the same as well.
I haven't put anything demanding in AMPERE yet to see if it gives and how much (but I didn't get it for that reason either)
I used it on a trip - I charged cameras, flashes, and mobile phones simultaneously. Absolutely no problem.
It does exactly what it is designed to do, and it saved me from small inconveniences here and there.
Calm down my head. I permanently have 5 USB cables on top, and whenever I want to charge anything, I just plug it in. I no longer wait for one device to charge before I plug in the other. Convenient.
First observation is the very fast charging. Time will tell.
Edit: 11/16/2020 It works like the first day, I bought a second one
