This edition of the three short stories under the common title "The Sons" comes as a continuation of the publication of the Letter to the Father, where the author confessed among other things: "My writings had to do with you, I was mourning there, of course, only what I could not mourn in your embrace. It was a deliberately prolonged way to say goodbye to you, only it was certainly compelled by you, but it was developing in the direction that I was defining."
The edition concludes with an extensive Postscript, where excerpts from the author's diary notes and letters (22 of which are translated for the first time into Greek) concerning exclusively these three short stories are collected and shed light on the personality of the author Franz Kafka.
