I bought it for a simple laptop from the 2000s, for browsing, music, streaming. I did 2 ten-minute tests and here's my review: Stable base for a 15'' or maybe even a 17'' if it protrudes on the sides. It has very good support to prevent the machine from slipping in any case. The fan is not silent but it's not unbearable noisy either. The on-off button works fine. The LED light as well. First test with the fan off, playing music on VLC player, streaming a movie, and having the diagnostic tool Speccy open at the same time. Temperature stays stable at 60-64 degrees. Second test with the lid closed, with exactly the same things open, but with the fan on. Temperature stays stable at 57-60 degrees. The USB ports and the on-off button, on the right side as we look at it, and the power cable are annoyingly short if there is no port on the corresponding side of the laptop. The plastic it's made of is of poor quality. These are my few thoughts and I hope I helped.

    Update: 11/6/20
I watched a video conference on Facebook and roasted some chestnuts while watching... I won't reveal where I got the chestnuts from... 80-85 degrees on medium image with comments on the side.
