You don't learn English with this book, it throws you straight into the deep end, the exercises it has are laughable, zero grammar, the explanations it gives are ridiculous, in summary, you don't learn English with this book, it's for those who already know some English, not for beginners, let's not kid ourselves, the older books if you find them are much better, I don't recommend it at all

You learn easily. I used to read for 1 hour every day and in 3 months I was able to speak English relatively well. Of course, if you don't use it frequently, you start forgetting words.

No! You don't learn English on your own, nor with this book. It ended up in my mother's hands, who doesn't know a word of English, and I took a look at it and was horrified. It quickly dives into difficult topics, skipping the basic foundations of the language, and on the first few pages, you already encounter difficult vocabulary for beginners. And of course, what is missing, as in all books of its kind, is oral training. How is it possible for someone to learn to speak without first listening? Take the 20 euros it costs and give it to a teacher instead (no, I'm not a teacher), to sit down and teach you a couple of things that will stick with you. End of story.

It is a very good book. It explains everything in great detail and it also has exercises. Hardcover and 548 pages.

Very good. Incredible method. It helps a lot even if you have no idea about English, but it requires reading.

Simply perfect. For only 15 euros, the book explains in detail all the grammar phenomena and their idioms, and through the dialogues, you can enrich your vocabulary to a satisfactory degree - which makes you capable of communicating with an English speaker from the very first week. The only "negative" thing is that it doesn't improve your listening skills - well, we can't have it all. I highly recommend it to everyone who is learning from scratch (like me), it's worth every penny and more.

Congratulations to Mr. Matsoukas for his effort. An exceptionally well-written book that absorbs you and helps you understand what is happening in every situation it explains. Ideal for beginners and for those who have "forgotten". With 15 euros - equivalent to 2 hours of private lessons - you get many hours of lessons with an experienced teacher who you feel is right beside you. Dialogues, grammar, tips, nothing is missing to improve your English level. Excellent purchase, highly recommended.
