Diplomatico is well-known for producing high-quality rum. Particularly innovative is the new collection from the distillery collection diplomatico, whose distillation was done differently. No 1 is the Batch Kettle Rum. The distillation system used was transferred to Diplomatico's La Miel distillery in 1959 and originally came from Canada, where it was used for the production of Whiskey.
This rum is mainly produced from molasses and aged in American oak barrels, which were previously used for aging bourbon for 6 years. In the mouth, fruity and sweet aromas dominate, wildflowers and vanilla notes. Its elegance is apparent on the palate, where delicate notes of roasted caramel and flavors of ripe red fruits lead to a soft, sweet, and prolonged aftertaste.
