Chatzigeorgiou Estate is the first large private winery on the island of Lemnos. The founder of the winery is Petros Chatzigeorgiou, who, despite being a businessman in the trade of drinks and wines, decided to settle in Lemnos and become a winemaker.

Natural sweet wine from overripe grapes of the ancient Greek variety Limnio. The grapes are sun-dried for about two weeks and naturally fermented for almost three months. The sweetness of the wine comes from the unfermented sugars of the grape. It is followed by aging for 6-8 years in large oak barrels, to create complex aromas and a dense flavor.
