In the game's Showdown mode, up to four players compete and imagine their way to victory through card-based strategies and creative skills.

The "Wordy" mini-games require unleashing the best object or character from the vast vocabulary of Scribblenauts, with over thirty thousand words, to trick an opponent.

The "Speedy" mini-games are designed for action and reward the player who completes a specific challenge first.

A board game-like map displays the players' progress. With multiple ways to reclaim territory, each player has a chance for victory.

In Versus mode, two players can compete in over 25 mini-games that vary in each session.
