It is a creative and enjoyable game for children. My first son easily played it from the age of 3. The second one is 3 and something and still needs his time. It is up to the child when it will capture his interest. However, it is my number one choice for a gift for 3-year-olds.

It is beautiful, well-designed, and with a nice selection of colors. The only problem is that you can only write words that do not have a letter repeated for a second time, as there is only one copy of each letter. Therefore, apart from the words on the tiles that are specially selected, you cannot write whatever you want. A characteristic example is the child's name, e.g. if they are called Maria, they cannot learn to spell their name as it has two A's and in the game there is only one A.
Edit: We bought a second one for another child and the letter H was missing, it had 23 letters. We returned it as it was defective and requested a replacement, so another one came but it had stains on some letters that would not come off. This was also returned. Out of 3 games in total, only 1 was okay. You can't call it a satisfactory percentage. They need to reconsider the quality control they do before releasing the products on the market. When I contacted the company that makes them, the only thing they could tell me in a rude manner was to talk to the store where I bought it and that it is not their responsibility to replace it.

Χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα το όνομα του παιδιού π.χ. αν το λένε Μαρία δεν μπορεί να μάθει να σχηματίζει το όνομά του καθώς αυτό έχει δύο άλφα και στο παιχνίδι υπάρχει μόνο ένα Α.
Edit: Αγοράσαμε και ένα δεύτερο για άλλο παιδάκι και έλλειπε το Η, είχε 23 γράμματα. Το επιστρέψαμε αφού ήταν ελαττωματικό και ζητήσαμε αντικατάσταση οπότε ήρθε άλλο το οποίο όμως είχε λεκέδες πάνω σε κάποια γράμματα οι οποίοι δεν έφευγαν. Επεστράφη και αυτό.
Από 3 συνολικά παιχνίδια μόνο 1 ήταν οκ. Δεν το λες ικανοποιητικό ποσοστό. Πρέπει να επανεξετάσουν λίγο τον έλεγχο ποιότητας που κάνουν πριν διοχετεύσουν τα προϊόντα στην αγορά. Στη δε εταιρία που τα φτιάχνει όταν επικοινώνησα μαζί τους το μόνο που μπόρεσαν να μου πουν ήταν με στριφνό ύφος να μιλήσω με το κατάστημα που το αγόρασα κι ότι δεν είναι δική τους αρμοδιότητα να το αντικαταστήσουν.

Beautiful game, we bought it as soon as the little one started recognizing some letters (preschool) and showing interest in them, and in a few days he learned them all. He doesn't play with it, but we use it to form words when he has some questions, e.g., what letter does this start with. It's much easier because writing requires more effort at this age.
However, it is indeed a major disadvantage that it doesn't have 2-3 of each letter, because the words that can be formed are really limited. It's a shame, the company could have an extra pack of letters to buy as an extension.
edit: after a lot of use, I concluded that I do not recommend it. The design is not at all well thought out for a game that involves letters. The font for the lowercase letters is not suitable for kids (it's the simplified computer font, without the characteristics of the letters they learn in school) and the uppercase letters are hard to distinguish.

As an idea, it's very nice, but construction-wise not so good. I also had the same problem as I read in another comment, where the groove that the board stands on is not properly made, causing it to fall back and not work. Τέλος πάντων έκανε πατεντουλα α μπαμπάς μας κ όλα καλά αλλά θα μπορούσαν να το φτιάξουν καλύτερα!

Unfortunately, I was not satisfied even though it has excellent reviews. The wood does not stand well and the letters easily fall off when you put them on or take them off. Also, it works for the letters but the cards do not stand well.
But mainly, I did not like the cards. There are few of them and I find it a bit difficult to try to teach a child with pictures of shoes and have to write "footwear". And this happens because there are exactly 24 letters.

Κυριως όμως δεν μου άρεσαν οι κάρτες. Είναι λίγες και το βρίσκω λίγο δύσκολο να προσπαθείς να μάθεις σε μικρό και να έχεις εικόνα με παπούτσια και να πρεπει να γράψει υποδήματα. Κι αυτό συμβαίνει επειδή είναι και τα γράμματα ακριβώς 24.
2.5 years old, plays often with it, easily puts all the pieces in their place, has learned most of the letters from everyday use. At this age, we don't say "Alpha" but "Aaaa, like Apple", not "Delta" but "Dddd, like Door".
We haven't tried using the cards yet - they are for older ages. Soon.
It is preferable to have it in their environment for about 1 week, and then remove it when you see that they are not interested, and reintroduce it after, for example, 10 days.
2,5 ετων, παιζει πολυ συχνα μαζι του, βαζει ευκολα ολα τα κομματια στη θεση τους, εχει μαθει τα περισσοτερα γραμματα απο την καθημερινη χρηση. Επίσης σαν παιχνιδι κραταμε ενα γραμμα και λεμε λεξεις που αρχιζουν απο το γραμμα αυτο, ή ρωταμε πχ η λεξη Μαμα απο ποιο γραμμα αρχιζει? και δειχνουμε το Μ, κλπ.
Σε αυτη την ηλικια δεν λεμε "Αλφα" αλλά "Ααα, οπως Αχλάδι", οχι "Δέλτα" αλλα "Δδδ όπως Δίχτυ".
Δεν εχουμε προσπαθησει να χρησιμοποιησουμε τις καρτες-ειναι για μεγαλυτερη ηλικια. Προσεχως.
Ειναι προτιμότερο να υπάρχει στο περιβαλλον του πχ 1 εβδομαδα, και κατοπιν απομακρυνση οταν δειτε οτι δεν ασχολειται, και επανεμφάνιση μετα απο πχ 10 μερες.

Edit: Αγοράσαμε και ένα δεύτερο για άλλο παιδάκι και έλλειπε το Η, είχε 23 γράμματα. Το επιστρέψαμε αφού ήταν ελαττωματικό και ζητήσαμε αντικατάσταση οπότε ήρθε άλλο το οποίο όμως είχε λεκέδες πάνω σε κάποια γράμματα οι οποίοι δεν έφευγαν. Επεστράφη και αυτό.
Από 3 συνολικά παιχνίδια μόνο 1 ήταν οκ. Δεν το λες ικανοποιητικό ποσοστό. Πρέπει να επανεξετάσουν λίγο τον έλεγχο ποιότητας που κάνουν πριν διοχετεύσουν τα προϊόντα στην αγορά. Στη δε εταιρία που τα φτιάχνει όταν επικοινώνησα μαζί τους το μόνο που μπόρεσαν να μου πουν ήταν με στριφνό ύφος να μιλήσω με το κατάστημα που το αγόρασα κι ότι δεν είναι δική τους αρμοδιότητα να το αντικαταστήσουν.

Beautiful game, we bought it as soon as the little one started recognizing some letters (preschool) and showing interest in them, and in a few days he learned them all. He doesn't play with it, but we use it to form words when he has some questions, e.g., what letter does this start with. It's much easier because writing requires more effort at this age.
However, it is indeed a major disadvantage that it doesn't have 2-3 of each letter, because the words that can be formed are really limited. It's a shame, the company could have an extra pack of letters to buy as an extension.
edit: after a lot of use, I concluded that I do not recommend it. The design is not at all well thought out for a game that involves letters. The font for the lowercase letters is not suitable for kids (it's the simplified computer font, without the characteristics of the letters they learn in school) and the uppercase letters are hard to distinguish.
Πανέμορφο παιχνίδι, το αγοράσαμε μόλις ο μικρός άρχισε να αναγνωρίζει κάποια γράμματα (προνήπιο) και να δείχνει ενδιαφέρον σε αυτά, και σε λίγες μέρες τα έμαθε όλα. Δεν παίζει με αυτό, αλλά το χρησιμοποιούμε για να φτιάχνουμε λέξεις, όταν του δημιουργείται κάποια απορία, πχ, από τι γράμμα ξεκινάει το τάδε. Είναι πολύ πιο εύκολο, γιατί το γράψιμο απαιτεί πιο μεγάλη προσπάθεια σε αυτή την ηλικία.
Είναι όμως τελικά μεγάλο μειωνέκτημα που δεν έχει 2-3 από το κάθε γράμμα, γιατί πραγματικά οι λέξεις που φτιάχνονται είναι περιορισμένες. Κρίμα, θα μπορούσε η εταιρεία να έχει ένα έξτρα πακετάκι γράμματα να αγοράζεις σαν επέκταση.
edit: μετά από πολλή χρήση κατέληξα στο ότι δεν το προτείνω. το design δεν είναι καθόλου προσεγμένο για παιχνίδι που αφορά τα γράμματα. η γραμματοσειρά των μικρών γραμμάτων δεν είναι η ενδεδειγμένη για παιδάκια (είναι η απλοποιημενη γραμματοσειρά υπολογιστή, χωρίς τα χαρακτηριστικά που έχουν τα γράμματα που μαθαίνουν στο σχολείο) και των κεφαλαίων είναι δύσκολο να βρεις το πάνω κάτω.

Unfortunately, I was not satisfied even though it has excellent reviews. The wood does not stand well and the letters easily fall off when you put them on or take them off. Also, it works for the letters but the cards do not stand well.

Επίσης σαν παιχνιδι κραταμε ενα γραμμα και λεμε λεξεις που αρχιζουν απο το γραμμα αυτο, ή ρωταμε πχ η λεξη Μαμα απο ποιο γραμμα αρχιζει? και δειχνουμε το Μ, κλπ.
Σε αυτη την ηλικια δεν λεμε "Αλφα" αλλά "Ααα, οπως Αχλάδι", οχι "Δέλτα" αλλα "Δδδ όπως Δίχτυ".
Δεν εχουμε προσπαθησει να χρησιμοποιησουμε τις καρτες-ειναι για μεγαλυτερη ηλικια. Προσεχως.
Ειναι προτιμότερο να υπάρχει στο περιβαλλον του πχ 1 εβδομαδα, και κατοπιν απομακρυνση οταν δειτε οτι δεν ασχολειται, και επανεμφάνιση μετα απο πχ 10 μερες.
