The worst thing I have ever bought. I got it in 2015 to catch a thief in an office. We wanted something autonomous, small and discreet, with recording only on motion. Closed office (a room with a window), so we said as soon as someone comes in we’ll catch them.

First of all, it has a remote control with which you activate recording, so you choose motion mode, which if I remember correctly is the default. It doesn’t give you a good indication that recording has been "activated".

Now for the best part: As soon as someone comes in and WHENEVER IT DECIDES TO RECORD, a little light flashes !!!!! That is, they sell you a hidden camera, supposedly discreet, but let’s put in an indicator so the other person understands something is going on.... We covered the bottom right corner with tape. That’s where the lights and the remote receiver are.

In low light (not darkness, just not midday) the quality indoors is poor. It reminded me of old web cams with very coarse grain.

Result: we lost 3 days of our lives and from all the movement that happened (including the thief) we caught a few unrelated things, which were also cut off, i.e. motion detection DID NOT work.

I gave it to a friend and he threw it away shortly after, he got another one that actually did the job.
