The first Assyrtiko outside of Greece resulted from Peter Barry's love at first sight with Assyrtiko in 2006 when he came for vacation.

Citrus peels, lime, grapefruit, melon, as well as some mineral notes, compose an aromatic profile that displays the characteristics of the variety as well as the influence of Riesling, which dominates the winery, and the terroir of the area.

Very balanced on the palate, with a medium body and crisp acidity, with minerality and hints of salinity accompanying the fruit flavors, and with a lemon-green color and a long, lemony aftertaste.
