A wonderful white wine from Gewurztraminer, originating from the French-German border, Alsace. Alsace is the only French wine region that cultivates significant quantities of Gewurztraminer.
This wine belongs to the 'fruit wines' series of Ostertag, where the aim is to showcase the main character of the variety. The wine is produced from many small vineyards around the village of Epfig that are cultivated biodynamically.
Until the 2015 vintage, the wine was named Vignoble d' E, where "E" referred to Epfig. From the 2016 vintage onwards, it was renamed Les Jardins.
