Attention to the shoe code.
There are two forms of Nike Air Monarch IV.
One normal and one wide version.
The normal ones are those with code 415445-(and 3 more digits depending on the color)
And the wide ones are those with code 416355-(and 3 more digits depending on the color).
The shoes, even in the normal version, are generally "chunky shoes," so in the wider version... imagine.
Some stores now mention the difference in the description (as "very wide"), but to be sure, pay attention to the code listed.
As a die-hard sneakerhead and having gone through many pairs of sneakers, my opinion on the shoe (in the normal version 415445-102) is as follows.
Beautiful classic-cut shoe, with the nickname best dad's shoes, for the obvious reason that it targets older customers.
However, it is not the most comfortable shoe for a lot of walking or wearing for many hours, e.g., in a job that requires movement and standing.
For a stroll that requires less walking, it's just fine.
It is somewhat heavy (not as heavy as it seems), you "feel" it on your foot, and if you haven't gotten the absolutely right size, it may pinch a bit or, conversely, be too loose. But shoes forgive small deviations in size selection.
Generally, an older person looking for a more comfortable walking shoe can make better choices for this money.
However, I will give it 5 stars because for the reason it exists, it is a good choice, and its build quality is not bad. Whether it is beautiful is subjective.
Whether it is VFM depends on the period you buy it. I've seen it from €40 to €75.
At €40, you don't even think about it. Okay, and up to €60.

P.S.2 The squeaking can be easily fixed with a little talc inside the shoe under the sole.
Προσοχη στον κωδικο του παπουτσιου.
Υπαρχουν δυο φορμες Nike Air Monarch IV.
Μια νορμαλ και μια φαρδια εκδοση.
Τα νορμαλ ειναι αυτα που εχουν κωδικο 415445-(και 3 ψηφια ακομα αναλογα το χρωμα)
Και τα φαρδια αυτα που εχουν κωδικο 416355-(και 3 ψηφια ακομα αναλογα το χρωμα).
Τα παπουτσια ακομα και στη νορμαλ εκδοση ειναι γενικοτερα "χοντροπαπουτσα", οποτε στη πιο φαρδια εκδοση ... φανταστειτε.
Καποια καταστηματα πλεον αναφερουν τη διαφορα στην περιγραφη (ως "πολύ φαρδιά"), αλλα για σιγουρια προσεχετε τον κωδικο που αναγραφεται.
Ως φανατικος σνικερακιας και εχοντας περασει απο τα ... ποδια μου πολλα ζευγαρια sneakers, η αποψη μου για το παπουτσι (στη νορμαλ εκδοση 415445-102) ειναι η εξης.
Ομορφο παπουτσι κλασικης κοπης, με το παρατσουκλι best dad's shoes, για τον προφανη λογο οτι απευθυνεται σε μεγαλυτερης ηλικιας πελατες.
Παραυτα δεν ειναι το πιο ανετο παπουτσι για πολυ περπατημα ή να το φορας πολλες ωρες πχ σε εργασια που απαιτει κινηση και ορθοστασια.
Για βολτα που να απαιτει λιγοτερο περπατημα, ειναι μια χαρα.
Ειναι καπως βαρυ (όχι τόσο βαρύ όμως όσο φαινεται) το "αισθανεσαι" δηλαδη στο ποδι σου, και αν δεν εχετε παρει το απολυτα σωστο νουμερο, μπορει να σας χτυπαει λιγο ή αντιθετα να πλεει. Αλλα παπουτσια συγχωρουν μικρες αποκλισεις στην επιλογη νουμερου.
Γενικοτερα ενας πιο μεγαλος σε ηλικια που θελει πιο ξεκουραστο παπουτσι για περπατημα, μπορει να κανει καλυτερες επιλογες σε αυτα τα χρηματα.
Θα του βαλω ομως 5 αστερια, γιατι για το λογο που υπαρχει ειναι καλη επιλογη, και η ποιοτητα κατασκευης του δεν ειναι ασχημη. Το αν ειναι ομορφο ειναι κατι υποκειμενικο.
Το αν ειναι VFM, εξαρταται απο την περιοδο που θα το αγορασεις. Το εχω δει απο 40€ εως 75€.
Στα 40€ δεν το σκεφτεσαι καν. Αντε και μεχρι 60€.
ΥΓ1 επιπλεον υπαρχει και ενα τριτο μοντελο με ονομασια Nike Air Monarch IV AMP και κωδικο FB7143-403.
ΥΓ2 Το τριξιμο, διορθωνετα πανευκολα με λιγο ταλκ μεσα στο παπουτσι κατω απο τη σολα.
