It does everything perfectly, extremely stable, and tested for 6 years of continuous use with the heaviest phones on the market (it even held a Zfold6 in place with a workaround, but in terms of weight, no problem at all)

The magnets are strong. My metal plate is placed between the phone and the case (I have a Spigen case). I had no issues or scratches. The phone comes out easily from the base and the base remains in place. If you stick the metal plate on the outside of the phone case where it comes into direct contact with the base, it is possible for the base to detach from the ventilation holes when trying to remove your phone.

I have tried countless €5 phone holders and ended up with 3 broken vents in my car. This particular holder is by far the best €15 I have ever spent. Even on a bumpy dirt road, my phone doesn't move from its position, and most importantly, the holder doesn't damage the plastic of the vent.

The phone never comes off the base while driving, the magnet is very strong. So strong that sometimes the base almost comes out of the air vent if you pull it abruptly.

So we have a very nice and elegant tool that fits perfectly in the air vents of my car! Stable, functional, it has 360° rotation so you can turn it in whatever position you think satisfies you!
And also the most important thing is that it has very strong magnets (6 in total) that hold the device perfectly stable. Personally, I use it on a Samsung 8.7' tablet and it doesn't move from its position at all! WARNING it does not fit all car air vents! Check it first.

Under different circumstances, the stars would be 5. The magnet is SO strong that you have to struggle to remove the phone from the base. There is a risk of detaching the metal from the phone. It was almost impossible for me to use it, and I ended up using my old Spigen metal base. If the plan is to leave it stationary on the base for long trips or to fish for metal coins from debris, then it is 5/5. Otherwise, it takes a little effort to detach your phone.

As long as it was new, it was perfect! Within 6 months, the phone started to lean, while the wheel of the base was tight. The phone has never fallen! The magnet is indeed very strong, it just has stability issues. Overall, it is now quite loose. Also, these types of bases, while they are quite ergonomic without appearing, like those with suction cups on the windshield, you cannot put them on all types of air vents.

So far, no Spigen product has disappointed me. Similarly here, very good build quality, it includes 2 magnetic pads to apply on the back of your phone or case. In my case, because it has a textured texture, they didn't stick well on the outer side, so I put them on the inner side of the case and they stuck perfectly without affecting its application on the phone.

The base requires a little force to fit into the air vent and a little caution not to break any grilles, but it fits incredibly securely. The phone fits just as securely on the base, both with a thin, hard case and with a thick, protective Spigen case. Really powerful magnet. If used with a case like Spigen rugged armor or liquid crystal, it doesn't come off at all. With the use of a more reinforced case like Spigen tough armor, it easily detaches unless you place the metal plate between the plastic and silicone. One negative is that it affects wireless charging

The base is the best in terms of performance-price ratio. It fits securely on the air vent, the arm tightens well (slightly sideways and downwards as I want it) and the mobile phone that used to fall off on two previous bases I had, now stays in place (in a lowered car with harder shocks and more shaking on bumps and potholes)!! It attaches and detaches from the magnet very easily, provided of course that the metal plate is inside the case and not in direct contact with the magnet. I highly recommend purchasing it without hesitation.

I bought this mount for a heavy phone, fearing that I would have issues like I did with another well-known mount. Very good construction for now, in a car with "difficult" air vents that are slanted and generally hard, the phone doesn't move at all. I hope it lasts.

It is very good and holds the iPhone 8 plus, placing the metal surface inside the case. It moves slightly from the vibrations, without the mobile phone "falling".

It is the best I have tried on a car base and I have tried many! The magnets are very strong without affecting the device's sensors. The metal plate does not affect even NFC payments. The support on the air vent is very good, as well as the grip of the device on the base.

The only thing I would like a little better is the stability at the angle you choose that suits you. With use, the screw that holds it in place loosens, so in bumps, potholes, and vibrations in general, it changes angle and is a bit annoying. The screw that tightens it is plastic and it is a bit worrisome that it might break if you overdo it.

Excellent choice. Very high quality construction. The magnet is very strong and leaves no room for accidents. However, it does not fit all grills, so there is a possibility that it may not be suitable for your car (it fits perfectly in my Volvo, but it did not fit well and easily came off in a Fiat that I rented)
