Extends my wi-fi signal inside my house so I can use wi-fi on the top floor. Needs to be placed fairly close to your router and only extends the signal, doesn't make it stronger. Easy to set up and use. I don't know if it is better than anyone else, but I knew the name was trusted and the device worked for me.

A total of 5 were purchased. Very often they lost their settings and needed to be reset. Within 2 years, all of them stopped working.

It works well and seamlessly. However, I give it one star because, after a power outage or sudden router restart, and even though I have set it not to provide DHCP, it suddenly remembers that it wants to provide it. And just like that, it messes up all your IPs and disconnects all your devices, at least in my case where I have another device on the network for DHCP distribution.

I don't see anything positive so far. I bought it because I wanted to connect an external camera and a smart bulb that is at the front door of the house, right below. It connects with a mobile phone, but with the bulb, even if you install it right next to it, it doesn't connect. The bulb works perfectly fine with the Linksys RE2000 range extender (10 years old) without any issues. Also, it disconnects a lot if you notice, and it doesn't have a good enough range. I'm giving it 2 stars only for the interface. It's not worth the money, I wouldn't recommend it.

Quite good, especially considering its price.
It connects easily and, to be honest, I expected disconnections like almost all extenders have, but so far I haven't had any.

I have been using this particular one since 2019 (of course it will be replaced in the future)! What impressed me the most is the distance it can provide a signal! I remove one star because occasionally it has some disconnections, but overall yes, it is very good for its price! (I have it connected with an ethernet cable to a Powerline) Just be careful because its LAN is up to 100 Mbps and from its settings you choose which band the Ethernet port will use (2.4GHz or 5GHz). Finally, don't get confused and install the wrong firmware version! (If it is, for example, V2 you should install V2)

As long as I've had it, it has done its job just fine without interruptions. I installed it from the first day I got it and have forgotten about it.

Update after 2 years of good operation: today, 02/10/2025, it stopped working and keeps rebooting. As I see, this has happened to others as well and now it's going for recycling... That's why I'm now giving it 2 stars.

The first year after I bought it, it worked well. Then it started disconnecting on its own. When Nova changed my router, it couldn't communicate with the router to reconnect. There is no one from Tp link to guide you. I got frustrated... Neither from its service manual nor from YouTube was I ever able to reconnect it, even though I was entering the correct password. Searching in forums, I found that other people had the same problem, as it reboots on its own and also doesn't communicate with the router during connection - 'Wrong Password.' Of course, I would not buy it again. Stay away. Wasted money...!!!!

I bought 2 for different uses in different places. While they are generally easy to install and use, both no longer work after a year of use. Suddenly, both started permanently rebooting, all the lights turn on and then it starts all over again. I tried to install the firmware but it had no effect.

Very good for the money. You download the app on your phone to set it up, I did it in 3 minutes easily. It saved me as the router is in the upper apartment and down it caught very little. Now it feels like I have another router down. It's worth the money

I have set it up with a TP Link router that supports One Mesh and it works flawlessly; mobile phones, laptops, and IoT devices connect normally and seamlessly. I don't have any crazy demands for speeds (the line at home is about 100 Mbps), so I don't know if there would be losses at higher speeds.

I am also with a TP-Link router Archer MR600. Well, it doesn't work, i.e. the well-known "no internet," even though it is connected and close to one meter... None of the three connection methods have any effect.
Even the complicated process you find on the support page on TP-Link, with manual DNS, IP settings, etc., does not solve the problem. I shouldn't have to be an IT specialist to connect a simple extender. Cheaply made by a once-great name.
P.S. I also bought another model, RE305, same crap... I am a customer for the fifth time, there will be no sixth...

I use it to get a better signal throughout the house and indeed I do, the distance from the router is about 6-7 meters and it doesn't lag at all.. I definitely recommend it.

Super easy operation. It extends the network at least 10 meters through 2 walls in my case.

This particular extender is mesh, which means that to have internet without disconnections throughout the house, the modem must also be mesh. For those in the know, they can agree or disagree with what I write. Well, it works just fine, guys; I simply synchronize from the modem at 300 on my phone, I have a 500 line, from the extender 150. For me, it’s perfectly fine; it does its job well. For anyone wanting more, they can spend around 100 to 150 euros to get something better. That’s it, and the saying that you get what you pay for doesn’t always hold true.

This is the best price/performance device I was able to find for my particular purpose. I already have a Vodafone modem for the internet, but I needed an extender to transmit the signal to rooms with low signal. This device worked great. 5ghz signal is also strong. It can either diffuse the internet coming from the Ethernet cable (access point) or mirror a Wifi signal (Wifi Extender).

I received it a little while ago, it connected immediately and on the lower floor I now have full signal. Time will tell about durability, but first impression is very good

Very good. Connected to the router with WPS in record time. Works perfectly on both 2.4 and 5 GHz. Has a very good range. I had an issue in the back rooms of the house. Now I have a strong wifi signal everywhere. I didn't use the tether app. I will install it to see what options I have through it. For now, satisfied.

Very easy setup and the application has countless things you can do with the wifi. In my own space, despite trying several angles, unfortunately, it does not have such a great range. The only reason for 4/5.

I have had it for three months, the distance between the router and the extender is four meters, the speed of the extender is very low, it barely reaches 10 Mbps, while the router provides a speed of 100 Mbps. Every 10 minutes or half an hour, the signal is lost. The extender is not worth it. I will not buy it again and I do not recommend it to anyone

I have had it for about 6 months. At first, it was working very well with a relatively good range. It had some interruptions, but the signal would quickly come back. The TV played everything without any glitches. In the last few days, it constantly has a red light and it is very difficult to connect to the internet! It doesn't load movies or even videos on Facebook on my phone. I bought it for more than 20 euros and it really isn't worth it to only work well for a few months. The 3 stars are only for the first few months when it worked very well and the connection didn't give me any trouble. I definitely wouldn't buy it again.

Assembly connection was very difficult, we had to hire someone to fix it for us. I tried for 2 days but couldn't fix it, it was very difficult. I almost threw it out of frustration, but then it connected to the internet on its own and it works perfectly. The internet is very fast and it doesn't lag at all, it's very good.

I have had this product for a year and it is rubbish, not worth it at all. It is unstable and freezes, I do not recommend it

I have them in a network with 1+2 repeaters, which is a bit stretched so I don't have high expectations from the last two links in the chain. The first one, however, transmits satisfactorily, and the two second ones generally respond. The setup is easy and understandable. Overall, I am satisfied.
