Ok but too big and bulky for 4kg. They're about twice the size of my 5kg dumbells. They also don't have a strong grip which means they could easily slide off a surface.

As for durability, time will tell.. I've had them for 1-2 months.. During an exercise (e.g. plank) where you can rely on the dumbbells instead of the mat, I have the impression that the handle bends a little from the weight, so I didn't continue using it that way
