Pay very close attention to the adapter-lighter. The sticker states that it provides 12 volts, but it actually provides 5 volts to the camera/mirror (as seen in the photo). This means that if you bypass (like I did) the adapter-lighter and directly provide 12 volts, the camera will emit smoke.
You might ask me, "Why would you bypass it?"
Answer= Because in a taxi, there is already a triple charger for mobile/router/cash register and there is no available lighter socket.
If the adapter stated, even, that it provides 5 volts. Truly tragic mistake by the Chinese
