Whoever does not follow the instructions, obviously will not be satisfied. I started from 600 and reached 3000, sanding with water. The varnish is amazing. Prefer a closed space or if that's not possible, at least work in the shade and make sure there is no wind. Suggestion: After the final sanding and cleaning, you can apply Antisil 770 and paint immediately after. Antisil 770 removes any stain or grease that may be on the surface. The headlights are as old as the car, 22 years. Now I have to see how long it lasts.

Sand the headlight properly with all the sandpapers from 600 to 3000 and the result will be flawless.
It requires experience in using spray; if you don't have it, it will get worse.
If possible, do it indoors or choose a day without wind if it is outdoors.

With the 2nd attempt, I had a good result on a 20-year-old car with very yellow headlights (my mistake for not photographing the "before"). The 1st time I failed because the sanding was not very good, using 3 sizes of sandpaper 800-1200-1500. I realized that many sizes of sandpaper are needed (I used 600-800-1000-1200-1500-2000-3000) and very good sanding (I sanded each headlight for over an hour by hand). In the final sanding (3000), the surface of the headlight when wet (photo 1) should be quite shiny; do not expect the varnish to work miracles and polish a poorly sanded headlight. I let it dry (photo 2) and applied 2 layers of varnish in opposite directions (vertical and horizontal), the result is in photo 3. I imagine using a sander instead of hand sanding would yield better results and of course much faster. How long the varnish will last, I don't know..

Right before and left after!! Don't listen to the negative reviews, they just don't know how to use it! Rub for 5 minutes with 800 grit sandpaper, clean with water, then 1500 and finally 2000 grit sandpaper, let it dry, apply two coats of varnish, and voila, the result is 30 minutes of work!!! If I could, I would give it all the stars in the sky in the review!

What can I say? The photos do not lie, it delivers what it promises 101%, it just requires good preparation, meaning wet sandpaper 600-800-1,200-1,500-2,000-3,000. Spend 2 minutes on each sandpaper, clean it well, and in the end, spray and wait for 15 minutes. Spray again and wait for about an hour if possible in a closed space for better results

Certainly the yellowing has disappeared. They didn't completely clear up, but I am satisfied. I sanded with wet sandpaper 600 800 1200. Maybe I could have done better, it was my first time. Overall, it is definitely better.

Because it was a period with rain, the lights came out before rubbing/spraying. In a closed room temperature of around 22 degrees, it takes more than 2 hours to solidify.

Quite satisfied with the result, time will tell how long it will last. I would recommend it for someone who wants to deal with it.

  • Whoever does not follow the instructions, obviously will not be satisfied.

  • Sand the headlight properly with all the sandpapers from 600 to 3000 and the result will be flawless.
It requires experience in using spray; if you don't have it, it will get worse.
If possible, do it indoors or choose a day without wind if it is outdoors.

  • With the 2nd attempt, I had a good result on a 20-year-old car with very yellow headlights (my mistake for not photographing the "before").

  • Right before and left after!!
