In other words, it doesn't make it a deep matte black; it makes it shiny, which, however, is not dry! For example, Jambo makes it matte black without leaving that grease that this one does.

The first day it will shine quite a bit, but the second and following days it will just have a "matte" shade, making the tire appear only slightly darker and nothing more. So, you have to constantly renew it if you want a noticeable difference!
