For the first time in the new Call of Duty, the action takes place in 2025, and players are placed in a highly futuristic war setting with many significant changes to the shape of the planet.

The protagonist in the new Call of Duty is Dave Mason, son of Alex Mason whom we met in the first part of the Black Ops series, while the script for the new Call of Duty Black Ops II is by David Goyer, who has written major hits such as The Dark Knight.

The new additions to both single and multiplayer as announced by Treyarch, as well as the return of Zombies, promise that the new Call of Duty Black Ops II will be one of the best and most commercially successful games in the series.
