We carefully take out the wrapped condom to avoid tearing it while opening the package.
We find out which side unrolls by unrolling it a little.
While putting it on, we hold the tip at the end to ensure no air is left inside.
We always use water-based (water-soluble) lubricant. We never use anything oil-based or petroleum-based (lipid-soluble) like jelly, oil, creams, baby oil, petroleum jelly, lotion, or other lubricants. Oil-based lubricants destroy the condom and cause it to break.

We check the expiration date and the CE seal on the package.
