Very sturdy construction with durability so that even if you apply force, it won't bend easily. Very high-quality material. The only downside is that everything is a bit too tight, even the opening of the pliers. Of course, with use and over time, it loosens up. However, at that point, you will need to tighten it again so that it lasts for a long time.

One of the important features of this particular wave is the locking of the selected "tool" each time we choose it for use, as well as the double bit (Phillips and flat) which can be quickly and safely selected for use.

I used it on the fence, work for 2 pairs, after I had the wave and the surge. The wave, as you can see in the picture, delivered body and soul... Its place was taken by a Chinese multitool for 30€ with "WORSE" metal and made me a lad!!! 2 stars for the warranty that replaced it for me but nothing more...

It is the first multitool I own. No matter how much I write, the Wave+ is not enough. I bought it for everyday use (EDC) and clearly for my job. It has all the tools that could be used in many settings for various tasks. It is sturdy, durable, and overall well-made. It is a serious tool, with all the tools easily opening and closing. It is an excellent alternative solution to not having to carry a whole toolbox for everyday tasks. The knife and serrated knife are very sharp and can be opened with one hand. An exceptional tool with many uses.

Very good multitool with a quite ergonomic handle, I use it for my fishing as well, it gets wet regularly, I dry it well at night or the next morning and oil it so you will never see rust... Because some say that it rusts relatively easily... if you dry it the same or next day, there is no chance of seeing rust on the tool. I have it with me almost always, I use it very often, it is user-friendly, many tools come out from the outside so you don't need to open the tool to use them. Satisfied!

For me, it is the best mid-range multitool from Leatherman in terms of functionality and size. Especially the knife is a scalpel.

Beautiful, high-quality, and compact tool, about average in terms of weight for everyday use, and also average in terms of ergonomics if you exclude the one-handed blade opening; the rest of the tools open from the inside, which means the handles have to be opened. The nylon sheath is good, with a solid clasp.
I’ve only had it for a week, and there have been various reports about rust and broken screwdrivers and jaws; for now everything is going well. I also sprayed a little WD-40 on it just in case, and I’ll probably do that regularly. At the same time, I also found a kit with bits and an extender for Leatherman from an overseas site for €20.
I think the price is a bit steep, since it belongs to the company’s less premium models in terms of features and steel quality, and that’s how we should compare it. If we were talking about a price of €100, since it costs $100 in America, then I think it would have no rival; maybe that’s why it has been Leatherman’s best seller since 1998.

Where the rest stops, this one begins, without exaggeration. It's worth every last euro.

I have it for over 20 years.
The opening now has about 2-3 millimeters of play, the blade has dulled a bit and needs sharpening, and the case has blackened on the inside and has visible signs of wear on the outside.
It is 100% functional and has cut thousands of wires, cables, plastics, and even a wooden beam once.
The first 2 years I used it daily, but not as much anymore.
There is no rust anywhere, and it has worked in the sea and in the snow.

Watch here a presentation! If you find it on sale, then yes, go for it! At 100+ euros, I believe you can find something better!!

The first Wave was a decent multitool. Unfortunately, as the years went by, the quality kept decreasing. Nowadays, Leatherman tools break before they even have a chance to rust. All the Leatherman tools I have owned have broken very quickly, with normal use. There is a better company, which I believe doesn't need advertising and everyone knows how much more experienced and high-quality it is. I gave it 2 stars because for the few months it worked, I had to constantly clean it from rust, and because the pliers broke without applying much force. I recommend the old Leatherman tools, not the new ones. This company is as good as its age!

Only the fact that it has a 25-year warranty says it all.... I had a similar one that I bought in 2005, the safety broke, I sent it to the dealership and because they no longer had that model, they sent me a brand new wave plus completely free.... I only paid 15€ for shipping.

Owner of the said tool since 15/12/2018. I considered the negative criticism I read about the quality of the metal excessive, but after very mild and mainly household use, I started to see the first rust spots! Unacceptable quality. Only three stars for the variety of tools.

I have been using this specific tool for several years and it is very good!
What I am not completely satisfied with is the quality of the steel.
It requires attention and a lot of maintenance to prevent rusting. In multi-tools from other brands... you don't have this issue as strongly.
Also, I would prefer the closure to be tighter
