The OXY Editions present an original series of notebooks. Using pencil and eraser, the renowned graphic artist Paris Koutsikos designs letters.
Each design follows the shape and dynamics of the letter. The ingredients of each composition emerge along the way, relying more on intuition, balance, and humor.
As a result, there are inevitably surreal compositions consisting of familiar but also nonexistent objects, mysterious shapes, imaginary animals, detached and isolated faces and body parts, an aesthetic reminiscent of comics and psychedelia, conditions of weightlessness, visual games, intense lighting, decorative elements borrowed from various cultures, forms that simply serve the balance of the composition.
The combination of letters to form words gives a different dynamic to the visual aesthetics of each word.
