A lens essential for video/photo, and I focus more on video because primes are widely used in serious small, medium, and large productions. The reasons are simple: 1) depth of field, 2) manual focus (pulling), 3) aesthetics, 4) speed, 5) naturalness... Not all of these are analyzed; the main point is that it is primarily a photographic lens because the electric manual focus complicates the standards of cinematography, such as preset focus points from your position and the subject! The focus wheel turns a bit wildly without strict stop positions and specific speed... however, since Sony is top-notch in autofocus, you leave it in a preset focus zone that suits the setup (flexible point, zone, single point, etc.), it just takes getting used to, and after 5 months mounted on an a7iii with automatic-manual switches, I have minimal complaints in cases of theater flow, events, etc. For photography and video on the a6300 or even on the old nex vg 30 from 2012 (aps c camcorder), whether on a tripod or gimbal, you can achieve incredible aesthetics, especially for spots (note it shakes a lot because on a crop body it becomes 130mm+)... In my opinion, the best performance for evening conditions is to be close to f2.5, f2.8 for proper color performance and good white balance adjustment... something that concerns many is the daytime recording where above f11 you have losses due to diffraction (aperture limit with loss of sharpness and colors). Perhaps some things are correct, perhaps not, because even on similar types of cameras with the same lenses and settings, we have deviations either in color performance or in overall image performance to a small degree, however... Personally, having tried zoom lenses like the kit 28-70 f3.5-5.6, the G 24-105 f4, the 16-35 f4, the 70-350 f4.5 / 6.3 G for video & photos, a prime is sharper, more true to colors, and its performance is more accurate, perhaps logically because the former have quite a few moving parts; of course, they are more comfortable because you don't need to run and chase your subject. Ενας φακος απαραιτητος για βιντεο/φωτογραφια και στεκομαι στο βιντεο περισσοτερο επειδη οι prime χρησιμοποιουνται κατα κορον σε σοβαρες μικρες , μεσαίες και μεγαλες παραγωγες. Οι λογοι ειναι απλοι , 1)βαθος πεδίου , 2) manual focus (pulling) , 3)αισθητικη , 4)ταχυτητα , 5)φυσικοτητα ...
Δεν αναλυονται ολα αυτα , τα βασικα ειναι πως ειναι φωτογραφικος φακος κυριως διοτι η ηλεκτρικη χειροκινητη εστιαση δυσκολευει τα στανταρ της κινηματογραφισης οπως οι προκαθορισμενες θεσεις εστιασης απο την θεση σου και του αντικειμενου!γυρναει λιγο τρελα η ροδελα εστιασης χωρις αυστηρα stop θεσεων και συγκεκριμενη ταχυτητα..ομως επειδη η sony ειναι κορυφη στην αυτοματη εστιαση το αφηνεις ετσι σε προκαθορισμενη ζωνη εστιασης ομως που βολευει το set up(ευελικτο σημειο,ζωνη , μονου σημειου κτλ) , απλα θελει συνηθεια και μετα απο 5 μηνες κουμπωμενος σε a7iii με εναλλαγες αυτοματο-χειροκινητο εχω ελαχιστα παραπονα σε περιπτωσεις ροης θεατρου , εκδηλωσεων, κτλ.
Για φωτογραφια και βιντεο σε a6300 η και σε παλια nex vg 30 του 2012 (aps c camcorder)ειτε σε τριποδα η gimbal μπορεις να δωσεις απιστευτη αισθητικη ειδικα για σποτ (προσοχη κουναει τρελα διοτι σε crop body γινεται 130mm+ )..Αποψη μου πως καλυτερη αποδοση για βραδινες συνθηκες ειναι να εισαι κοντα στο f2.5 , f2.8 για σωστη αποδοση χρωματων και καλη ρυθμιση στην ισορροπια λευκου ..κατι που απασχολει αρκετούς ειναι η ημερησια καταγραφη που πανω απο f11 εχεις απωλειες λογω diffraction (οριο διαφράγματος με απώλεια οξύτητας και χρωματων)
Ισως καποια πραγματα ειναι σωστα ισως οχι γιατι ακομα και σε ιδιου τυπου καμερες με ιδιους φακους και ιδιες ρυθμισεις εχουμε αποκκλισεις ειτε σε αποδοση χρωματων , ειτε σε συνολικη αποδοση εικονας σε μικρο βαθμο ομως..Προσωπικα εχοντας δοκιμασει ζουμ φακους οπως ο κιτ 28-70 f3.5-5.6 , ο G 24-105 f4 ,ο 16-35 f4 ,ο 70-350 f4,5 / 6,3 G για βιντεο & φωτογραφίες ενας prime ειναι πιο οξυς , πιο πιστος σε χρωματα , και η αποδοση του ειναι πιο ακριβης , ισως λογικα γιατι οι πρώτοι εχουν αρκετα κινουμενα μερη , βεβαια ειναι πιο ξεκουραστοι γιατι δε χρειαζεται να τρεχεις κια να κυνηγας το θεμα σου,.ελπιζω να βοηθησα .
