Wine: Red Dry Varietal
Variety: Negoska
Region: Selected vineyard in the area of Goumenissa. Vines approximately 30 years old with a yield of up to 700 kg per acre. The soil is sandy clay with good drainage. The climate of the area is continental with cold winters.
Harvest: Late September.
Vinification: Pre-fermentation extraction at a temperature of 12 - 15°C for seven days. This is followed by fermentation for about twenty days at temperatures of 25 – 30°C. The young wine is transferred to 300 lt French oak barrels for the completion of malolactic fermentation, where it remains with its lees for a period of two months. After the conclusion of the malolactic, racking occurs followed by further aging for another six months.
Characteristics: Vivid red color with garnet highlights. In its aromatic character, notes of red fruits are distinguished, with an emphasis on raspberries and blueberries, combined with earthy aromas. On the palate, it presents rich youthful characteristics. It is equally aromatic, with an elegant sense of acidity and a generous taste. A wine with charming personality and intense fruity aftertaste.
Accompanies: Enjoy it with charcuterie dishes and grilled meats.
