Although generally the saying "you get what you pay for" applies, here we have an exception. Of course, there have been some cost-cutting measures taken, for example in the cable which seems somewhat delicate and is not certified for resistance to chemicals. Its length is fine though. The blade, although carbide, is not the smoothest and leaves some imperfections in the cut. It is very powerful and stable. It is relatively lightweight - it helps that its base is made of magnesium and not sheet metal like all the others in this category. It is also relatively well aligned: with careful adjustment, it cuts accurately at a 45-degree angle and you can angle it to make basic furniture - although it is intended for construction work and not for precise tasks that require a bench saw. I believe that a better blade would showcase its abilities.

I had bought an Ingco with 235 discs for 170 euros and its durability was zero because the plate was made of lightweight aluminum. I thought it was impossible to find something worse in terms of quality until I bought the fme301 from Stanley. I was impressed by the fact that it had a sturdy magnesium plate and the Stanley name, as they are also the owners of Dewalt. In practice, the product is unacceptable as the front point of contact of the plate is connected to the saw on a plastic base with huge gaps and elasticity, while the back part of the plate is supported only by a thin blade. Having the magnesium plate secured to the workbench, I tested its rigidity by moving the handle left and right and found that there was free movement of over 1 cm. I know it is a hobbyist model, but I did not expect it to be almost useless. I wonder about the 5 positive reviews from previous buyers that influenced my purchase as well.
