The Golden wine is produced from selected, small-sized, old, autochthonous and pre-phylloxera vineyards. They are cultivated in a dry manner, with cup-shaped formation, and are carried out manually with gentle and/or organic methods.
Our vineyards are located in the villages of Thiramona and Mavrata in southern Kefalonia. The soils of the area are clay-sandy, clay-sandy and clay-loamy. The highest quality vineyards are located on slopes facing their mother, Zakynthos. Winemaking is done without clarifiers and filters, in order to better preserve the authentic character of the wine.
Its rich and full-bodied nature, combined with its high natural acidity and elegantly phenolic character, create a unique wine with great aging potential. Its fresh version fills the mouth with white-fleshed fruits, citrus and herbs.
