  • So, so, let's start. At first glance, you see an eastern wine in orange color with citrus notes, very promising and impressive in appearance. Now let's move on to the tasting, always, of course, with my humble opinion without being a professional or having any degree in this field. The taste is initially slightly salty and then an intense wave of citrus bursts in, ending with a citrus aftertaste and a sense of alcohol. In no way is it a bad wine and it has nothing to do with fish as others mention. It is a wine that has its audience and personally, after the first sip, I enjoyed it pleasantly during the summer season. I would buy it again and I believe you should try the product for a tasting experience on your palate.

  • Very good wine. Unfortunately, however, few people understand its value. They are used to processed winemaking. When I was little, we had vineyards and we harvested. It reminds me of something from the authenticity of that wine.

Two main reasons why I buy the Orange from Anatolikos:
    a. It has a full body and moderate acidity, with good aromatic intensity. I won’t write about aftertastes, etc., I will just comment that it leaves a strong citrus sensation as an aftertaste. Something that I personally like.
    b. It is orange in color. Which means you can gift it and impress everyone who won’t expect it. How many have tried orange wine? I regularly gift it, and I see smiles and pleasant surprise everywhere.

Paradoxically, it pairs very nicely with simple foods, even with... souvlaki! (but don’t 'burn' this wine. Make a good giouvetsi to enjoy it properly).

Summary: The Anatolikos Orange is in my Top-3 wines. If you have to choose between a good white and the Orange (for this price), it is definitely worth giving it a try.
