Extruded Polystyrene: High-strength thermal insulation material resistant to moisture and pressure (known as XPS). Used mainly in external façades, floors, and basements to provide effective protection from heat and cold.
Expanded Polystyrene: Lightweight insulating material (known as EPS or white Styrofoam). Refers to mesh and reinforcement suitable for external thermal insulation systems using expanded polystyrene boards.
Special Applications (Up to 2 cm): Suitable for thin materials intended for areas with limited space, such as window reveals, thin plaster layers, or localized repairs.
Standard Insulation (2.5 cm to 5 cm): Suitable for materials used in medium-thickness thermal insulation. Commonly used in basic wall insulation applications to save energy and protect against temperature fluctuations.
Heavy-Duty External Wall Insulation (5 cm and Up): Refers to reinforcing meshes suitable for external thermal insulation systems with insulation thicknesses of 5 cm or more. They provide greater mechanical strength to withstand the stresses placed on thicker insulation layers.
