Clear- Gasoline: Ideal for locations where there is no power supply. It is not affected by voltage drops or fluctuations.
- Electric: Ideal for continuous and demanding operation (e.g. for flooded fields or/and basements). More economical consumption than gasoline-powered pumps. More environmentally friendly.
- Petroleum : Ideal for areas where there is no power supply. It is not affected by voltage drops or fluctuations.
- Battery: Ideal for locations where there is no electricity supply.
- with Automatic Suction: The pump starts or stops automatically when the tank (which carries the water) empties or fills up respectively.
- Centrifugal: Pump with blades that enhance the flow of water.
- It is the power required by the motor to operate the pump and transfer the liquid. It is measured in horsepower (hp) or kilowatts (kW) and depends on the flow rate, head, and system resistance.
- Single Stage: A pump that has an impeller (like a propeller) inside. It is suitable for low pressure operations where a high flow rate is maintained (e.g. irrigation).
- Double Stage: A pump with two propeller-like blades that work together to pump process fluids. They are adjustable to send water either with more pressure or in a larger volume.
- Multistage: A pump with 3 or more blades (like propellers) exerts high pressure and achieves maximum efficiency. Ideal for homes with low water pressure.
