Nikolaos Tessaromatis

Nikolaos Tessaromatis is an Associate Professor of Finance at ALBA Graduate Business School and the CEO and Managing Director of the Investment Fund Management Company of Insurance Funds (EDEKT Asset Management). He holds a degree in Economics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the Open University of the UK, a Master's in Finance from the University of Exeter, and a Ph.D. from Manchester Business School. He has served as a Lecturer in Finance at Warwick Business School. In the UK, where he began his professional career, he was a Principal and Head of Investment Strategy and Product Development at GARTMORE Investment Management, a subsidiary of National Westminster Bank PLC. He was responsible for the investment strategy and management of the reserves of the pension funds of British Telecom and the Post Office, and he served as a representative of National Westminster Bank and a board member of ETBA - Natwest Mutual Fund Management Company. He has lectured at professional and academic seminars in Europe, Asia, and the USA. His studies have been published in reputable international scientific journals, including the "Journal of Banking & Finance," "International Review of Economics and Finance," "International Review of Financial Analysis," "Investment Management and Financial Innovations," among others.
