Richard P. Nielsen

Richard P. Nielsen is a professor in the Department of Organizational Studies at the Carroll School of Management, Boston College (USA), and holds the "Aristides Daskalopoulos" Endowed Chair in Business Ethics at ALBA Graduate Business School. He holds a degree in Economics and Finance, as well as a master's degree from the Wharton School and a Ph.D. from Syracuse University. He has published over 75 scholarly articles on business ethics in international journals such as the "Academy of Management Review," "Academy of Management Executive," "Strategic Management Journal," "Business Ethics Quarterly," "Business Ethics: A European Review," "Journal of Business Ethics," "Journal of Management Inquiry," and "Organization Studies." He is the president of the Society for Business Ethics. He has extensive teaching experience in the USA, Latin America, Asia, and Europe, and has worked as a consultant for numerous businesses and organizations, including the European Union, the United Nations, the U.S. Office of Education, the International Peace Research Institute in Oslo, Eurobank, IBM, Novo Nordisk, among others.
